Have a business? You’ve probably looked into CRM, Customer Relationship Management, systems to streamline customer interactions. Insightly is a decent choice of CRM; however, there are so many other options, which is why I’ve compiled this list of the best alternatives to Insightly.
Mission Suite (Best Overall Insightly Alternative)
Mission Suite offers a wide range of tools from email marketing, automated email triggers, sales management, and inbound marketing. You’ll find everything you need with Mission Suite. So long managing and paying for multiple platforms and hello to reasonable and scalable pricing. Mission Suite’s pricing model is different from other CRMs. Instead of charging per user, Mission Suite prices are dependent upon the database needed, which can make Mission Suite less expensive than other CRM platforms and scalable to any size business. The smallest database allows for unlimited users and 150 contacts, starting at just $30 per month. Read more about Mission Suite’s pricing here.
EngageBay (Best Budget Alternative to Insightly)
EngageBay is a great budget choice because you have the option to use their CRM & Sales Bay and Marketing Bay separately, or you can choose the All-in-One Platform for just a bit more per month. EngageBay’s prices are super affordable, especially if you consider how many services they offer. Their Pro plan is great for businesses that need analytical reports and higher quality customer support. They also have a free plan for you to check out the interface if you’re curious or to use exclusively if you just need the basics. They also have a free migration service, which makes switching CRM systems easy.
Ontraport
Ontraport is a good choice for businesses that specifically want to start an affiliate partner program. This system has built-in software that allows for an affiliate partner program and also has Ecommerce abilities. What makes Ontraport so great is that it has every tool in a centralized platform. They also have guides, podcasts, blogs, and templates to help improve your business. They also have sales, marketing, and support tools that make it worth the higher price if your business can greatly benefit from what Ontraport has to offer.
Drip
Drip is perfect for Ecommerce businesses. You build the automation system you need with prices starting at $19 per month. They have hundreds of featured integrations and Ecommerce integrations with Shopify, Magento, Big Commerce, WooCommerce, and Custom Store. They also have training and blog posts that contain valuable information to help further your Ecommerce business. They have Email and Email+SMS plans, which differ slightly in price, so I’d suggest the Email+SMS plan for Ecommerce businesses, but it’s not necessary. Drip also lets you try before you buy, which is always a plus.
Pipedrive
Pipedrive is another good budget option. It’s not pennies, but Pipedrive has a number of features for a good price, and each plan also has a 14-day free trial. Their interface is easy-to-use, and they have their own affiliate partner program. If you find that you love their system, you can become an affiliate partner and make money from referrals. This partnership could be a great way to subsidize your subscription cost if you have a YouTube channel or Instagram account with a large following.
Freshsales
Freshsales is another great budget CRM because their system and reports focus on leads, which is key for any business. Freshsales’ has simple pricing. After you try out the free plan, you can upgrade as needed the plan that best fits your needs. Each tier has its own visualization and customization tools, such as custom reports and dashboards, AI-powered Predictive Contact Scoring, and the Visual Sales Pipeline. Freshsales works great for small businesses, but you might find the system to be lacking if your business suddenly grows.
ActiveCampaign
ActiveCampaign has an extensive list of systems and services. This helps them to have a competitive edge against Insightly. However, it’s still not super cheap since you need the Plus plan to do more than the bare minimum. Furthermore, they only have annual billing, which would make upgrading a little annoying if you found that you needed it. Most companies will prorate the rest of your annual subscription for any upgrades, but just double check before you buy. If paying annually doesn’t bother you, then I’m sur4e you’ll find that ActiveCampaign has everything you need.
Keap
Keap is another strong contender whose pricing has the ability to stand out amongst big names like Insightly. One area they stand out is with their appointment scheduling software. Their software allows leads to schedule appointments into your calendar directly. Keap will often have sales, so if their price seems too high, keep an eye out for discounts. For 500 contacts and 2 users, their Pro plan has all the analytics and automation you’d need.
Arctic PinPoint
Arctic PinPoint’s price tag is higher compared to other CRMs on this list so far, but their cheapest package, Lite, has all the automation basics a small business would need for $59 a month. The price from Lite to Starter is quite a jump, but the Professional plan is said to be the best value. You get 3 more users and much higher capabilities for customization for just $30 more per month. Although the price tag seems high, keep in mind that you get a 30-day free trial for each plan. For $249 a month, you get everything in the Lite and Starter plans, such as lead scoring, lead source analytics, multi-channel drips, Facebook leads ad integration, custom reports, and progressive profiling, which makes Arctic PinPoint the best Insightly alternative for established small businesses looking to expand.
Sendinblue
Sendinblue is for those who need simplicity. If you only need marketing automation and web tracking in a built-in CRM, then Sendinblue’s Free and Lite packages are a smart choice. Their Premium package only allows for 3 users; whereas, Mission Suite allows for an unlimited number of users. Meaning, their Premium plan doesn’t quite measure up to some of the plans that other companies have. Nonetheless, if you do try their Free plan and find that you absolutely love their interface, tools, and/or customer support, then maybe the higher price will be worth it for your business or situation.
GetResponse
GetResponse is perfect for any size business with heavy engagement through Ecommerce and/or webinars. Their Autofunnel feature does all the sales heavy-lifting so you can focus on the big picture. Their prices are relatively cheap and totally scalable to your business’ growth. Another great aspect of GetResponse is that they also have pricing available for medium and large companies with their MAX options. GetResponse allows you to create your own funnel of emails, landing pages, and even payment processing through gateways like Stripe and Square. They also have a free plan, which is always nice in helping you come to an educated decision on the best Insightly alternative for your business.
Groove
Groove provides sales management, acceleration, and intelligence platforms for your medium- to large-business. Groove is also a good option for a smaller business if you foresee significant growth in the near future. Their product is easy-to-use, easy-to-set up, and fairly affordable. Their product is also highly integrated and configurable with most digital tools and social media platforms. However, it’s definitely not the cheapest option.
Conclusion
Insightly has great software, but its tools and pricing aren’t a perfect fit for every business. There are many better and/or more affordable solutions you can choose from. There are also a number of systems that are more expensive, but may be worth the price depending on your business’ needs. If your focus is email marketing automation, try EngageBay, Ontraport, Sendinblue, or Keap. If your main concern is Ecommerce, try Drip or GetResponse. If lead generation is your biggest issue, try Freshsales, Pipedrive, or Arctic PinPoint. If you just need an all-in-one system, try Mission Suite, Groove, or ActiveCampaign.
